Research Assistant
Chuxuan Gao received her MS in Biostatistics and Data Science from Cornell University and her BS in Mathematics and Statistics from Hong Kong Baptist University. She is a volunteer Research Assistant in the Mallick Lab, and she will begin her PhD at Peking University in fall 2027. Her research focuses on transfer learning and explainable AI for cancer and microbiome studies, with the aim of advancing interpretable, reproducible statistical learning methods in biomedical research. Her long-term goal is an academic career in biostatistics, contributing to methodological innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration.
